Born in Köflach, Austria — summer home of the world‑famous Lipizzaner horses — I built a 20+ year career on Wall Street, from portfolio management to serving as Head of U.S. Equities to Europe. Today I am the CEO of Future Verification Technology Inc./GmbH, a verification company I founded in 2020 based on blockchain and AI. A fun highlight from my finance years: I was the first broker to bring Marvel Comics to Europe.
My journey with our German Language School has taken me from parent to Marketing Officer, to President, and now Trustee. The culture, camaraderie, and “can‑do” spirit of this institution continue to inspire me.

Birgit Maier – Recording Secretary
My service to the Deutsche Sprachschule began as I retired from service with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) after 31 years. The Deutsche Sprachschule is credited for my successful career with the USAF that specifically hired me for my German Language proficiency and assigned me to several posts in Germany during my tenure. Departing the service, I decided it was time to repay the Deutsche Sprachschule with my Volunteer time. Before taking on the position of Recording Secretary, I taught German to the Kindergarten Class and substituted where needed.
