We hope that you are all well and are enjoying your last days of summer!
As Labor Day weekend slowly approaches, it is time to gear up for school. Our German school will start September 12th this year, and you have a choice to register your student(s) for either in-person school or virtual learning. The health and safety of all members of our community is very important to us. Therefore, the school board, together with Mr. Veniero and in accordance with the officials of the Winfield school district, have developed an opening plan with protocols that are aimed to ensure not only the continued outstanding German education, but also the health and safety of our students and teachers. The recent survey has returned the preference for the majority of parents to have their children come to school in person. Mr. Veniero would like to invite you to a virtual Town Hall meeting on Zoom to give parents the opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns they may have. The meeting will take place on September 1st, at 7 PM.
